These images were from one of our last campaigns that was done for an online frame company. They were looking at selling designer frames on ebay and really wanted to catch the attention of potential buyers by having their name on the image and a description of the product alongside a striking shot of the frame. They thought that as many people just photograph what they sell "on the living room floor or table" a gradient background and key information would help push sales.

The Art of White Balance Shooting
The majority of our photo shoots have been for the optical sector in which we have probably photographed over 1,000 items. The key to white background photograohy is the "set up". This is having the correct lighting and balance of lights around your source. We believe that the thinner and more delicate the object the harder it is to cleanly capture and obtain the correct colours. By refining our techniques with shooting thin wire frames to get such great shots, many other objects become relatively straighforward shoot.
